These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy website, the Shadow Work, WTF? podcast, the Shadow Work Library, free resources, AI-powered tools, digital products, and all other related online content and services (collectively, "Services") operated by Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms cover all Services operated by Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy that are not governed by a separate enrolment agreement. A clear summary of what is and isn't covered:

Enrolment in any paid certification or coaching program is governed by a separate Student Agreement and Program Terms & Conditions provided to you as part of the enrolment process. In the event of any conflict between these Website Terms and your Student Agreement, your Student Agreement will prevail in relation to your enrolment.

2. Who We Are

Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy is a somatic shadow work certification and education brand operated by Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd, registered in Queensland, Australia. Our Services include coaching certification programs, educational content, a podcast, free resources, and online tools accessible through shadowalchemycoaching.com and associated pages and platforms.

3. Use of Our Website and Services

By using our Services, you agree to:

• Use our website and content for lawful purposes only
• Not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from our website, library, or podcast without our express written permission
• Not use our Services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or interfere with other users
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our Services, accounts, or systems
• Provide accurate information when submitting forms, applications, or enquiries
• Not use our content, frameworks, or methodology to create competing products or services without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

4. The Shadow Work, WTF? Podcast

The Shadow Work, WTF? podcast is produced and published by Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd. By listening to or engaging with the podcast, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Educational content only. All podcast episodes are intended for educational, informational, and personal development purposes. Nothing in any episode constitutes professional psychological, medical, therapeutic, or legal advice. The views expressed are those of the host and any guests, and do not replace the guidance of qualified professionals.

Guest content. Opinions expressed by podcast guests are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy or Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd. We are not responsible for the accuracy of statements made by guests.

Intellectual property. All podcast content including audio recordings, show notes, episode titles, scripts, and related materials are owned by Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd and protected by copyright. You may listen to episodes for personal use, share links to episodes, and quote brief excerpts for non-commercial commentary with attribution. You may not download, reproduce, or republish full episodes or transcripts without our written permission.

Emotional wellbeing. Shadow work content can bring up strong emotions or unconscious material. If you are currently experiencing mental health challenges, trauma symptoms, or a crisis, please prioritise support from a qualified mental health professional before engaging with this content.

Platform terms. The podcast is distributed through third-party platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and others. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and conditions.

5. Shadow Work Library and Free Resources

We offer free educational content including articles, guides, worksheets, and the Shadow Work Library. This content is provided for informational and self-development purposes only and does not constitute professional psychological, therapeutic, or medical advice.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove free content at any time without notice. Access to certain free resources may require you to provide your email address and join our mailing list.

6. AI-Powered Tools

Some areas of our website may include AI-powered tools for educational and reflective purposes. By using these tools:

• You understand that responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, or medical advice
• You agree not to enter sensitive personal information including full name, financial details, health records, or identifying information about third parties
• You acknowledge that your inputs are processed by Anthropic, PBC in accordance with their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy
• You understand that AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies and should be treated as a starting point for reflection, not as definitive guidance
• No session content is stored by us after your session ends

7. Newsletter and Email Communications

By subscribing to our newsletter or email list, you consent to receive educational content, updates, and promotional communications from Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. We will not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and across our Services — including but not limited to text, images, videos, podcast audio, course materials, frameworks, methodology, tools, branding, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.

The Shadow Alchemy Method, its processes, frameworks, and associated intellectual property are proprietary to Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Certified graduates may reference their credentials and certification status in accordance with the guidelines provided in their Student Agreement. Use of the Shadow Alchemy name, logo, or branding beyond what is expressly permitted is not allowed without our written consent.

9. Paid Programs — Separate Agreement Required

Enrolment in any paid certification or coaching program offered by Shadow Alchemy Coaching Academy — including the Level 1 Facilitator Certification, Advanced Facilitator Pathway, and Personal Pathway — is governed by a separate Student Agreement and Program Terms & Conditions. That document covers:

• Payment terms, instalment plans, and accepted payment methods
• Refund and cancellation policy
• Program access, portal use, and content rights
• Certification requirements and assessment
• Student obligations, conduct expectations, and code of ethics
• Intellectual property specific to program materials
• Dispute resolution process

The Student Agreement will be provided to you prior to or at the time of enrolment. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read and agree to that agreement. These Website Terms do not create any enrolment rights or payment obligations.

10. No Warranties

Our website and free Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content on our website, podcast, or library
• Uninterrupted or error-free access to our Services
• Results you may achieve from using our free content, tools, or podcast
• The security of information transmitted to or through our website
• The accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Complete by Caitlin Pty Ltd and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website, podcast, free content, or AI tools, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on podcast episode content or guest opinions
• Reliance on AI-generated responses
• Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity
• Errors or omissions in any content on our website or library

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our website and podcast may link to or be distributed through third-party websites and platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and our student portal. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia. If you are accessing our Services from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
