Master the art of transformational work at the highest level — leading individuals, groups, retreats, and immersive experiences with integrity, discernment, and embodied leadership.
You've already completed more than one certification, read books, listened to podcasts, worked with clients, and done your own inner work for years.
And even though you've gotten to this point with yourself and your coaching, you know deep down that there's more here for you.
You know that you want to facilitate bigger transformations in 1:1, group, and retreat spaces. You know that you want to lead a room through your presence, voice, and intuition — knowing you can hold whatever comes up.
When you close your eyes you can see it: you've just finished facilitating a group of people who have had HUGE breakthroughs — tears in their eyes but smiles on their faces. Lighter and freer.
You can see yourself sitting at the front of the room with your heart bursting open with gratitude because you did it. You got out of your own way and said YES to your vision, your mission, your impact.
You didn't come here to play small. You came here to change lives.
Because right now, you don't feel like the facilitator who could hold that room.
You second-guess yourself at almost every turnand compare yourself to other coaches out there.
You can feel there's something underneathwhat the client is saying, but you have no idea how to get them there.
You feel scared of going deeper— what if you go too deep with a client and don't know what to do? Or worse — can't hold it and they get re-traumatised?
You over-rely on scripts and frameworksbecause you don't fully trust your intuition when it comes to facilitating.
A retreat or group feels like a completely different level— even if you can hold a 1:1 with confidence.
Imposter syndrome whispers constantly— "am I even good enough to do this?"
You're terrified of making a mistake— which stops you from taking the risks you need to in order to become the facilitator you know you can be.
You also know that you don't want to spend the rest of your career wondering if you're good enough to hold the work you're being called to do.
Most people spend 10+ years collecting certifications, piecing together different methodologies, hoping that one day they'll finally feel like the facilitator they've always wanted to become. Many never make it there — because it's almost impossible to find your way alone.
This pathway takes a different approach.
Instead of spending years refining yourself through trial and error, you'll spend 2 years being mentored, challenged, supervised, and refined by experienced facilitators who've already walked the path you're on.
Because the facilitator you're becoming won't be defined by another certificate on the wall.
They'll be defined by the way people feel in your presence — the safety they experience in your spaces, and your ability to meet them with groundedness when it matters most.
That's exactly who this pathway was built to develop.
For the coach who's mastered the fundamentalsand knows there's another level of leadership, presence, and facilitation waiting to be unlocked.
For the healer, therapist, or space holderwho's no longer looking for another framework — but the judgement, discernment, and embodied capacity to know what to do when the framework no longer applies.
For the facilitator called to lead retreats, powerful groups, and life-changing 1:1 sessions— who wants to know they can meet whatever walks into the room with groundedness, integrity, and skill.
For the facilitator who wants to stop relying on scripts— trust their intuition more deeply and become known for the quality of the spaces they create, not just the certifications they've collected.
For those who believe the people they serve deserve more than good intentions— they deserve a facilitator committed to continually refining themselves, because the depth of transformation they create will always be limited by the depth they've developed within themselves.
If that sounds like you, welcome.
You're exactly where you're meant to be.
"I am not the same facilitator I was before. This version of me is the one I always wanted to become."
Lurinda Vollmer — Somatic Shadow Work Coach & Retreat Facilitator
"My sessions were good. I knew what I was doing and came out of them feeling solid. But there were depths and edges I wasn't yet able to meet clients at."
"I no longer experience stress when I'm facilitating. I don't second-guess myself inside a session. That kind of presence doesn't come from knowing more. It comes from becoming more."
Lurinda always knew she didn't want to be a surface-level coach. She wanted to walk into a room and know she could guide anyone in this work — not just because she had the processes and tools, but because she had the depth, the capacity, and the confidence to hold someone at their edges.
"There was something in me that kept calling my clients to go deeper, and I was honest enough with myself to recognise there were depths and edges I wasn't yet able to meet them at. I needed to change that."
— Lurinda, on why she enrolledThe certification was confronting. It was humbling. And it was exactly what coaches in this industry need when they are choosing to guide people through big things — through their wounds, through pain, through grief.
It felt like a rite of passage. Not just for my skill set, but for who I am as a facilitator.
What Lurinda came to understand through the Advanced Certification is something most coaches never sit with long enough to see clearly — that who you are in the room matters more than what you know.
"An embodied coach is one who keeps going deeper — into their capacity, into their craft, and into their own edges. Not only so they are no longer projecting onto the people they are holding, but because the deeper we go in ourselves, the more capacity we have to be fully present for someone else."
"Our clients get more of us when there is less of our own unmet pieces sitting in the room."
— Lurinda, on what the work asked of herThat is what the Advanced Certification asked her to do. And it is what she came out the other side having actually done.
She now notices her clients' somatic responses and moves the session in a way that is deeply supportive while also creating the space for them to go further within themselves. The stress is gone. The second-guessing is gone. What's left is the facilitator she always knew she was meant to become.
Has experienced profound transformation themselves and feels called to dedicate their life to creating spaces where others can meet themselves just as deeply.
Knows that learning another modality isn't the answer, because they've realised the greatest tool they'll ever bring into a room is their own presence.
Wants to lead retreats, groups, and transformational experiences with the kind of integrity that allows people to surrender fully, knowing they're in safe hands.
Refuses to let unconscious patterns, projections, unexamined power, or personal wounds quietly shape the spaces they hold for others.
Understands that exceptional facilitation isn't about creating breakthroughs, but about becoming someone whose presence allows transformation to unfold naturally.
Wants to move beyond following processes and develop the discernment to respond to what's actually happening in the room, even when nothing goes according to plan.
Is no longer interested in performing wisdom or sounding embodied, and instead wants to live their work so deeply that their presence speaks before they do.
Has reached the point where personal development and professional development are no longer separate paths, because they know their capacity to guide others will always be limited by their willingness to keep meeting themselves.
Feels a deep responsibility to become cleaner with power, clearer in leadership, and more deeply devoted to the craft of facilitation than to the identity of being a facilitator.
Knows this isn't simply a career, a business, or another certification. It's the work they're here to devote their life to.
Exceptional facilitators aren't built in a weekend. They're developed over time through practice, feedback, supervision, real-world application and the continual refinement of who they are every time they step into the room.
That's why the Advanced Facilitator Pathway has been intentionally designed as a two-year journey. Each stage builds on the one before it, developing not only your technical skillset, but your leadership, discernment, nervous system capacity and embodied presence so you can facilitate transformational work with increasing depth, confidence and integrity.
You'll move beyond simply learning how to facilitate and begin refining who you become as a facilitator. Along the way, you'll be supported through live trainings, practical assessments, supervised facilitation, real-time feedback, mentorship and a community of practitioners who are just as committed to raising the standard of this work as you are.
Guides a client toward the rejected or hidden part of themselves driving a current pattern, and supports its integration.
Used when a client understands a limiting belief intellectually but hasn't shifted it on a felt, embodied level.
Helps a client safely feel, locate, and move through an emotion in the body rather than staying caught in the story around it.
Great coaching isn't about asking better questions — it's about knowing how to guide someone safely through lasting transformation. This quarter develops your ability to hold powerful 1:1 coaching sessions by combining somatics, shadow work, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed facilitation into a practical coaching framework.
Facilitating groups requires a completely different skillset to coaching individuals. This quarter teaches you how to confidently hold multiple nervous systems at once, lead emotionally safe group experiences, and navigate the complexity of collective transformation with presence and authority.
This quarter takes your facilitation beyond coaching sessions and into retreats, immersions, and rites of passage. You'll learn how to design transformational experiences that weave together emotional release, ritual, integration, and ethical leadership into powerful journeys that create lasting change.
The greatest challenge of facilitation isn't technique — it's you. This quarter explores the unconscious patterns that influence leadership, power, relationships, and ethical decision-making so you can lead from awareness rather than reactivity.
The method that helps clients finally let go of what they've been carrying — guiding them through embodied resolution to express what was never spoken and complete unresolved emotional experiences.
The framework that changes how you coach — track the nervous system, recognise what the body is communicating, and facilitate deep transformation even when clients can't put their experience into words.
The framework that gives you the confidence to lead any room — facilitate groups with clarity, attunement, and presence while navigating resistance, emotional intensity, and complex group dynamics.
The framework for designing transformational experiences that change people — not just inspire them. Intentionally sequence every activity, regulate intensity, and create ethical containers that guide lasting transformation.
Facilitate powerful somatic and emotional release that helps clients safely move, express, and integrate stored emotional energy — deeply transformative and ethically held.
The capacity to walk into any room, sit with any client, or lead any group without needing to control what unfolds — because you've developed the discernment to meet the moment rather than force an outcome.
A level of presence that allows people to soften, open, and meet themselves more honestly — not because of what you say, but because of who you've become as a facilitator.
The ability to recognise subtle shifts in the body, nervous system, and emotional field — and respond with clarity rather than hesitation, overthinking, or the need to fix.
A deeply embodied understanding of somatic shadow work that no longer feels like a process you're remembering, but a way of facilitating that's become instinctive.
The discernment to know when to guide, when to challenge, when to witness, and when doing less creates more transformation than doing more.
The leadership to facilitate retreats, groups, rites of passage, and transformational experiences with integrity, emotional safety, and the confidence to navigate whatever emerges.
A relationship with power that's cleaner, more conscious, and no longer driven by the need to rescue, perform, prove yourself, or create breakthroughs for your own sense of worth.
A level of self-awareness that allows you to recognise your own projections, biases, blind spots, and unconscious patterns before they shape the spaces you hold.
The confidence that comes from practice rather than performance — and from knowing your presence has been refined through years of study, supervision, self-inquiry, and real facilitation.
The kind of embodied leadership that can't be taught through theory alone — because it has been lived, challenged, refined, and earned.
More than anything, you'll leave knowing that the safest, most transformational thing you'll ever bring into a room isn't another process.
Lucy — Shadow Alchemy Coach & Advanced Shadow Alchemy Facilitator
I finally had this moment where I realised... I FUCKING believe in this work and in myself.
"I felt like my coaching was very surface level. I wanted my clients to get the results they deserved, but my confidence was dwindling because I couldn't take them any deeper."
"I had this moment where I realised how proud I am of my coaching. The questions I ask have so much more depth now. I can hold it."
When Lucy joined Shadow Alchemy, she wasn't looking for another certification. After more than a decade of studying mindset, manifestation, energetics, and personal development, she already had plenty of knowledge. What she couldn't understand was why both she and her clients kept returning to the same patterns.
"I knew there was more inside of me. My clients kept coming back to the same spot, exactly the same as I was."
That uncertainty followed her into every client session. She worried about saying the wrong thing, opening something she couldn't safely hold, or retraumatising a client. More than anything, she carried the pressure of believing it was her responsibility to create the breakthrough.
Level 1 changed that completely. As Lucy experienced the Shadow Alchemy Method herself, she realised the problem had never been a lack of information. She'd spent years intellectualising her healing, but without the safety to embody it, nothing created the lasting change she was searching for.
"I had all of the knowledge. I could intellectualise everything, but I couldn't embody it because I didn't feel safe. Shadow Alchemy was the missing piece."
After completing Level 1, Lucy knew she wasn't finished. She wanted to become the kind of facilitator she used to admire from a distance — the person who could confidently hold deep emotional work, trust their intuition, and remain grounded no matter what unfolded in the room.
"I came into this training feeling so unworthy, wondering why I was even there and whether I was good enough."
I realised I didn't have to fix the client. I just had to create safety. When people truly feel safe, they'll open without having to force anything.
That shift extended far beyond her client sessions. Learning to regulate her own nervous system, understand her unconscious patterns, and create genuine emotional safety transformed more than her coaching. It changed the way she related to herself, and that naturally changed the way she held others.
"It's changed my coaching, my relationship with my husband, the way I parent, the boundaries I hold, my confidence, and the way I show up in my business. I honestly feel like a different person."
Today, Lucy no longer leads from pressure, perfectionism, or the fear of getting it wrong. She leads from presence, self-awareness, and a deep trust in both herself and the people she works with. The greatest transformation wasn't simply becoming a more skilled coach.
It was becoming the facilitator she'd always hoped she could be.
What made it different was the depth. Nothing was rushed or performative. The space was solid, the people were real, and the work actually landed. I walked away clearer, more honest with myself, and more committed to not abandoning who I am even when my stuff feels heavy. The shadow work wasn't just a bunch of exercises. It was a full-body immersion into the parts of ourselves most people spend years avoiding. And what I also loved is that no one was posturing. No one came in trying to prove something. And if there were walls they came down naturally very quickly. Every person there was willing. Willing to look at themselves. Willing to sit in discomfort. Willing to be real. That doesn't happen by accident. It's a testament to the kind of space Caitlin holds and the standard she sets for who enters it. There was no ego in the room. Just people who were ready to go there.
I've been everywhere looking for a certification that isn't just throwing around all the buzzwords and hype, staying surface level, where you're not just another number paying your monthly fees. One that has extreme depth, that teaches you to be the most present and safe space holder who embodies the work and takes you into the places and spaces that all human beings avoid like the plague—because this is where the gold is. The Shadow Alchemy certification isn't just about learning to become a coach—it's a courageous pathway that bares open your soul, and in the process you become equipped with the skills and confidence that help individuals and groups rewrite the shame cycle. That, in this day and age, is still very taboo. That's exactly the legacy I want to leave.
The best part is coming out of Shadow Alchemy I feel I have so much knowledge and support that I can hold these women. That I can create safety so fucking quickly and guide them into themselves!
This immersion honestly trumps the 10 years of mindset work I have done. Although that work mattered, this is something else entirely.
Caitlin brings the goods on both fronts — I have felt so safe and held in her container and that all parts of me have been truly welcomed and that is testament to Caitlin's incredible knowledge and skills and her unwavering capacity to hold space as a leader and teacher, as well as her willingness to be real and show up in her own rawness standing as an example of someone who truly embodies this work. One of the main draws for me to join Shadow Alchemy was that it provided an experiential opportunity to travel to our edges and it did not disappoint. Shadow Alchemy has helped me bring into full awareness parts of myself that have been niggling at the edges, parts of me that until now I didn't realize were holding me captive and preventing me from shining in my full potential. I truly feel such a personal shift and know that this certification is going to bring such depth to my work as a Counsellor & Coach. Knowing first hand the transformations that can take place, I cannot wait to bring this work to my clients and watch the magic unfold.
Shadow Alchemy was everything I expected it to be and nothing like I imagined. I knew I would be pushed to my edges and stretched so far beyond my current capacity, but I didn't know how gentle and warm that experience would actually end up. Being a student of Caitlin's has been an honour and privilege to experience. From witnessing idea to creation of Alchemy, Caitlin's legacy is woven so deeply into this work with a level of love and heart that you need to experience. From the resources to the ongoing support, unparalleled. Caitlin has an ability to meet you where you're at but also know when to move and how to do it so beautifully. Thank you for facilitating the growth and expansion I was craving.
What drew me to this shadow work was my business. I noticed a gap between where my clients wanted to go and actually getting there. Over time, I realized many of them were stuck in a loop. I wanted to learn about shadow work to become a better leader and a better coach. I was hesitant at first because "shadow work" sounded very woo woo to me. What I didn't realize was how much this work would actually transform me. What happened during the 3-day immersion was something I did not expect. The parts of me that I tend to hide — the shame, the guilt, the perfectionist, the people pleaser, the critic — they all came to the surface. And the answers I received revealed how I was showing up in my life: in my relationships, in my business, and with my clients. For the first time, I felt seen by a group of people who didn't even know me. That allowed me to feel love in moments when I didn't feel lovable. To anyone who feels scared or resistant to this work, I would tell them that it is hard. It's emotional. It's vulnerable. It's raw. But if you're ready for it, you won't regret it.
I have never felt more certain and confident in the coach that I am and how I want to be able to support my clients. Not only did you hold me when I was ready to tap out from pure exhaustion but you showed up and allowed yourself to be held when you were moving through something yourself — a pure definition of leading by example. What you have created for coaches to learn the knowledge and tools you have spent years mastering is a real gift to this industry.
Prior to this certification I kept feeling like something was missing. Whilst I was able to drop in with clients and uncover what was going on, the same patterns kept repeating. This certification provided me with that missing link.It allowed me to deepen my understanding of trauma on a physiological level and learn the embodiment processes to close trauma loops rather than just intellectually bypassing. This space provided me an opportunity to connect with other women and level TF up. It stretched me wide open. Caitlin is such a beautiful mix of support and nurture, whilst also being unafraid to ask the tough questions and challenge you. I cannot wait to start using these new processes with my clients to help their find peace, freedom and expansion. Thank you so much for everything Caitlin. I highly recommend any coach wanting more for themselves and their clients to do this certification. Run! Don't walk”
Coaches if you are reading this and are wondering whether SAC is for you — do not think twice. Not only will it equip you with the tools to take your client sessions to another level, but it will also provide you with the tools to identify and navigate your own triggers, blocks and judgments that you may be experiencing in your own life. Caitlin from the bottom of my heart I thank you.
Where can I even begin to describe the magic of this weekend. The awe inspiring coaches. The incredible processes. The safety that is Caitlin's space holding. I've come out of this a completely changed woman from the one who went in. The things I've learnt, held, seen over the last 3 days have truly been life altering. And that on top of Caitlin's way of teaching her craft, of being so incredibly generous with her knowledge and infusing you with the belief that you can do anything is just nothing short of magic. I would highly recommend SAC to any coach who is struggling with feelings of imposter syndrome, like they're not getting breakthroughs for their clients or who just want to be better humans. Words can never describe my gratitude for you, you beautiful human. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Participating in this certification is allowing me to become a more relaxed and grounded version of myself — to live without so many anxieties can be a dream for many but this work is proof that it can become a reality, with the added bonus of being empowered to believe I deserve this. This weekend also reminded me the decisions and behaviour of others are not mine, therefore the impact of this was lessened when anxious thoughts came up around this. I would definitely recommend this certification to others without hesitating — this shit works, it's real, it's heavy but BRINGS RESULTS. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL.
Caitlin is a trauma-informed somatic shadow work coach, facilitator, and educator with 15+ years of experience in personal transformation work. She developed the Shadow Alchemy Method over a decade of rigorous practice, study, and refining — combining neuroscience, trauma-informed principles, somatics, psychology, and soul-level coaching into a practical, grounded, embodied facilitation framework.
She's trained hundreds of practitioners worldwide, sat with thousands of clients, and built a graduate community that spans 40+ countries. She's also a real person — a partner, a home builder, someone who's done her own shadow work and still does. She teaches from lived experience, not theory.
You've built your foundationsYou've completed Level 1 or equivalent training and know the fundamentals — but you can feel there's another level of depth, discernment, and leadership you haven't reached yet.
You want to lead more than 1:1sGroups, retreats, immersive experiences, rites of passage — the larger containers are calling you, and you want the capacity to actually hold them.
You understand the relationship between your depth and your rangeYou know that who you are in the room matters more than what you know — and you're willing to keep doing your own work because of it.
You're ready to be challenged, supervised, and assessedNot just taught. You want real feedback, live facilitation practice, and a mentor who will tell you the truth.
You want to stop following scriptsYou're done managing sessions from the outside. You want to develop the intuition and embodied judgment to know what to do when the framework no longer applies.
You take the responsibility seriouslyYou believe the people in your spaces deserve a facilitator who keeps refining themselves — not just a practitioner who stopped learning once they got certified.
You haven't done foundational trainingThe Advanced path builds directly on Level 1. Without somatic and shadow work foundations, this training won't land the way it needs to.
You're collecting credentials, not deepening your practiceIf the goal is another certificate for your website rather than a genuine commitment to becoming a better facilitator, this isn't the right fit.
You're not willing to examine your own patternsThis training will look at how your history, wounds, and unconscious structures show up in the spaces you hold. That's non-negotiable.
You want formulas, not judgmentIf you're looking for a system to follow so you never have to be uncertain in a session, this path will frustrate you. It's designed to develop discernment, not dependency.
You're not ready to be genuinely challengedThis isn't a training you move through comfortably. It will ask real things of you — professionally and personally. If that's not what you want right now, that's okay.
You want the title without the depthThe Advanced Facilitator credential means something because of what it requires to earn it. If you're looking for a shortcut to the status, this isn't it.
If you read the left column and felt something settle in you — that's the answer.

Not exclusively. Most students are coaches, space-holders, or facilitators, though anyone committed to leading transformational spaces with depth and integrity is welcome, including mentors, teachers, healers, and therapists already holding space for others.
Yes, deeply. Somatics, neuroscience, shadow work, and trauma awareness are integrated at every level. The training is not only intellectually trauma-informed — it is also energetically and relationally safe, which means you learn to embody what it means to be a genuinely safe space-holder, rather than simply learning the theory of it.

No. Additional certifications are not required, and you do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. What is needed is a willingness to show up fully and meet yourself honestly, which is what this space is built to support.
Safety here is built on capacity, consent, accountability, and care, rather than treated as a slogan. Your nervous system is never pushed for the sake of performance, and if something feels off, you will be met rather than dismissed.
It is worth being clear that this is a safe space, though not a trigger-free one. Real healing work touches real edges, and safety here means knowing how to hold discomfort, not avoiding it altogether. You may be stretched, though never to cause harm, and if your edge in a given moment is to say no, that boundary is honoured.
Yes. You will be met directly and precisely at your edges, with care rather than indifference. This is a container for real transformation, not a space designed for quick affirmation, and you will not be left to navigate it alone.
That experience is part of why this space exists. Many coaches and space-holders have been opened by a training or retreat that did not know how to hold what it awakened. This space is built with attention to your nervous system, your wholeness, and your truth, rather than repeating that pattern.

I used to feel nervous before every client session, worried they might cry or that I would not know what to say. Now I sit down with anyone and know I can hold them. The shift came from embodiment and integration, not from ego, and that has changed everything.
I used to try to perform safety. This showed me how to actually be it. I was terrified of holding clients in deep emotion, worried I would retraumatise them or blank out completely. Now I can meet people in the darkest places without flinching, because I trust myself.
I can hold a room differently now, not because I know more, but because I have become more. This did not give me a script. It gave me initiation, integration, and integrity, and that is the kind of space-holder I want to be.
